1) How bookings are made

  • Official channel: all bookings are made via direct WhatsApp with Mama Killa at +599 9 523-5214.

  • Website form: if you submit the web form, we will contact you via WhatsApp or email to continue. A booking is confirmed only after the three requirements in §2 are completed.

  • Written confirmation: you will receive a confirmation with date, times, approximate location, and your Preparation Guide.

  • Preparation note: participation requires following the Practice-Specific Preparation Guide (diet & abstinence) before any practice—see Health & Safety.

2) What’s required to secure your spot

  • Payment: deposit/retainer or full payment as stated for the event. Payment places a provisional hold on your spot.

  • Screening: truthful Health Questionnaire and, when applicable, a brief interview.

  • Consents: Informed Consent and any required Addendum (e.g., Kambô).

Final confirmation is issued only after all three are completed (payment, screening, and consents).

3) Deposits, balances, and fees

  • Deposit/retainer: non-refundable (covers planning, seat hold, coordination).

  • Balance: due by the deadline communicated for your event; unpaid balances may lead MKW to release the spot (cancellation rules apply).

  • Gateway/bank fees: processor/bank fees are non-refundable.

  • Currency & charges: prices appear in the indicated currency; your bank may apply FX/issuer fees.

  • Administrative cancellation fee: none (MKW does not charge an admin fee for participant cancellations).

4) Participant-requested refunds (choose one)

When you cancel, you may select one of these options:

A) 100% MKW Credit

  • Receive MKW Credit for 100% of amounts paid to use toward another event within the validity period (§5).

  • Best option to keep full value and flexibility.

B) 30% cash refund

  • Receive a cash refund of 30% of the amount actually paid.

  • The remaining 70% is non-refundable (covers coordination, preparation, and opportunity cost).

  • Gateway/bank fees remain non-refundable.

C) 100% cash refund

  • Receive a cash refund of 100% of the amount actually paid.

  • Gateway/bank fees charged by processors/banks remain non-refundable.

  • If you only paid the deposit, note the deposit is non-refundable by default; Option C would return cash only if the specific event page explicitly states a refundable deposit.

Note: Deposits are non-refundable unless a specific event page explicitly says otherwise. You can always choose Option A (100% MKW Credit) for the deposit.

5) MKW Credit (validity, use, transfers)

  • Validity: 12 months from issuance (unless the event states otherwise).

  • Transferability: transferable once to another person with prior approval, provided they pass screening and sign consents.

  • Scope: applicable to sessions, workshops, or retreats. If the new event costs more, you pay the difference; if less, the remainder stays as active credit.

  • Not convertible to cash (unless required by law).

6) Timelines & processing

  • Request window: please request your refund or credit within 30 days of notifying your cancellation.

  • Processing time: once approved, refunds are processed within 7–15 business days (your bank/processor may take longer).

  • Method: same payment method when possible; otherwise bank transfer (bank charges may apply).

7) Rescheduling (participant-initiated)

  • 1–1 sessions / 1-day workshops: 1 reschedule free of charge if requested ≥72 hours before; additional reschedules may be declined or offered as MKW Credit.

  • Retreats / multi-day events: reschedule subject to availability. If not feasible, you may choose A) 100% Credit, B) 30% cash, or C) 100% cash per §4.

8) No-show, late arrival, early exit

  • No-show (no timely notice): no refund and no credit.

  • Late arrival: for safety, entry may be denied once the practice starts; no refund.

  • Early exit: no partial refunds.

9) Changes or cancellations by MKW

  • MKW may change date/time/venue or cancel due to operations, safety, public health, weather, force majeure, or team unavailability.

  • If MKW cancels or changes and you cannot attend, you may select:

    • Move to the new date, or

    • A) 100% MKW Credit, or

    • C) 100% cash refund.

  • MKW may withdraw participation for failure to follow preparation, inappropriate conduct, false/incomplete information, or safety concerns (see Health & Safety). In such cases, refund eligibility may be limited per §§4–8.

10) Force majeure & exceptional circumstances

  • Events beyond reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, public health emergencies, conflict, transport closures, authority orders, critical utility outages).

  • In force majeure, we prioritize safety and rescheduling. If not possible, we will offer A) 100% Credit or C) cash refund (full or partial) depending on costs already incurred.

11) Communication & verification

  • WhatsApp = written notice: messages to the official WhatsApp count as written communication (timestamp = event’s local time).

  • Identity verification: for security, we may verify identity before processing changes/refunds.

  • Information integrity: if we detect false/omitted screening/consent data, MKW may void the booking without refund and/or deny participation for safety reasons.

12) Anti-chargeback & direct resolution

  • Please contact us first before initiating any chargeback.

  • Sharing chats and receipts speeds resolution. Chargebacks without prior contact may delay your case and affect eligibility for future credits.

13) Health, Safety & condition of service

  • Every booking implies acceptance of Health & Safety, the Preparation Guide (diet & abstinence), and the Informed Consent (and any required Addendum).

  • MKW may pause or decline participation if screening or behavior indicates risk. This may result in no refund per the rules above.

14) Legal notes

  • MKW operates according to the laws and accepted practices in each location.

  • This policy is general; it is not an offer of services with controlled substances in all territories. Availability of visionary-plant ceremonies depends on jurisdiction, permissions, and active protocols.

  • This policy may be updated; the current version will be published.
