  • No data sales: MKW does not sell personal data.

  • Identity & contact: name, email, phone/WhatsApp, preferred language.

  • Booking/operations: dates, chosen event, payment status (we do not store full card numbers), language choices, accessibility needs.

  • Communications: messages you send via WhatsApp/email/forms.

  • Technical preferences: browser language, time zone, cookie consent.

  • Site analytics: pages visited, time, clicks, approximate country/city (IP anonymized where possible).

  • Media & testimonials: only with your consent (see Media & Privacy).

Health/safety: sensitive screening and consent information is handled under Health & Safety – Privacy (with specific rules and retention).

3) Why we use data (purposes)

  • Service & bookings: respond to messages, manage spots, send confirmations.

  • Safety & compliance: verify basic eligibility, prevent misuse, meet legal duties.

  • Service communications: reminders, logistical changes, post-event surveys.

  • Website improvement: measure use and performance to improve content.

  • Optional marketing: event updates only if you opt in; you can opt out anytime.

4) Legal bases (indicative, by jurisdiction)

  • Contract/service performance: processing your booking/inquiry.

  • Consent: non-essential cookies, testimonials/media, newsletters.

  • Legitimate interests: safety, fraud prevention, basic aggregate metrics.

  • Legal obligation: responding to authorities where required.

5) Cookies & similar technologies

  • What they are: small files stored on your device to remember information.

  • Types we use:

    • Essential (strictly necessary): security, page load, session/consent management.

    • Functional: remember language and interface preferences.

    • Analytics/measurement: understand how the site is used (e.g., popular pages).

    • Marketing (optional): only if we run campaigns; by default, we do not use behavioral advertising.

  • Lifetimes: session (deleted on browser close) or persistent (longer; see cookie panel).

  • Third parties: we may integrate analytics (e.g., IP-anonymized solutions), embedded players, or maps. Third parties set their cookies only if you consent (where applicable).

6) Your control over cookies

  • Browser settings: you can also delete or block cookies via your browser.

  • Aggregate analytics: variable (e.g., 14–26 months) in pseudonymized/anonymous form.

8) Security

  • Technical: in-transit encryption (HTTPS), strong passwords, reasonable backups.

  • Organizational: limited access for staff who need it; basic data-protection training.

  • Limits: no system is 100% failproof; we will act diligently on any incident and notify you where legally required.

9) Sharing (when and with whom)

  • Service providers supporting operations:

    • Hosting & analytics (e.g., hosting/CDN, analytics with IP anonymization).

    • Communications (e.g., business email/WhatsApp).

    • Payments (gateways/banks; we don’t see or store your full card number).

    • Forms management and secure consent storage.

  • No data sales: we do not sell your data.

  • Authorities/insurance: only where required by law or to establish/exercise/defend legal claims.

  • International transfers: where providers are abroad, we seek adequate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses or equivalent).

10) Third-party links & embeds

  • Our site may link to or embed third-party content. Their own policies apply; please review them.

11) Minors

  • MKW does not serve under-18s and does not target minors. We do not knowingly collect their data.

12) Your rights (subject to applicable law)

  • Access your data; rectify inaccuracies; erase where appropriate.

  • Restrict or object to certain processing; portability where applicable.

  • Withdraw consent (does not affect prior lawful processing).

  • Complain to a data-protection authority if one exists in your country.

13) Marketing & communications

  • We’ll send operational communications (confirmations, changes, reminders).

  • Marketing: only if you consent. You can unsubscribe anytime (link in emails or via WhatsApp/email).
