Mama Killa World (MKW)

This policy explains what content is protected, how you may (and may not) use MKW materials, and how we handle third-party and participant content.
1) What “IP” covers here
Copyrighted works: website text, guides, PDFs, checklists, images, graphics, audio, video, course/ceremony materials, and recordings (if any).
Trademarks & trade dress: the Mama Killa World / MKW names, logos, wordmarks, taglines, look & feel of our sites and materials.
Confidential content: non-public protocols, internal safety checklists, incident logs, and screening forms.
Cultural materials: songs, prayers, symbols, and designs provided by custodians or communities (see Cultural Respect).
2) Ownership & reservation of rights
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, MKW (or our licensors) owns all rights in MKW content.
No rights are granted by implication; any use not expressly permitted is prohibited.
3) Your limited license (personal use)
We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
View our public site/pages.
Download or print public preparation checklists or PDFs for your personal use only (no redistribution).
Take personal notes during events for private integration (no recording of others; see Media & Privacy).
Any commercial use, republication, distribution, hosting, mirroring, scraping, data mining, or training of AI models on our content is not allowed without prior written permission.
4) Prohibited uses (examples, not exhaustive)
Copying or reposting MKW content to blogs, courses, or social media without permission.
Recording/streaming ceremonies, circles, integration sessions, or staff teachings without prior written consent.
Creating derivative works (translations, compilations, remix) for public or commercial use without permission.
Using MKW brand (names, logos, look & feel) in domain names, ads, handles, or products.
Framing/embedding that misleads about affiliation or origin.
Scraping site content or metadata; training LLMs or datasets on MKW content.
Removing copyright/trademark notices or watermarks.
5) Educational sharing (how to ask)
We support respectful learning. For classroom, community, or research use, write to info@mamakillaworld.com with:
What content you want to share (title/URL/file).
Audience, context (non-profit/academic), and distribution method.
Duration and geography.
Any edits/translation proposed.
We’ll reply with approval, conditions, or an alternative (e.g., an excerpt).
6) Translations & adaptations
Translations/adaptations of MKW materials require written permission.
If permitted, you must: keep faithful meaning, credit MKW, include our copyright notice, and share any changes back with us for safety/accuracy review.
7) Testimonials, submissions & participant content
When you voluntarily share testimonials, comments, or media with consent (see Media & Privacy), you grant MKW a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, edit for length/clarity, publish, and display that content on MKW channels for informational/educational purposes.
You represent that your submission does not infringe others’ rights.
You may withdraw future use as set in Media & Privacy; this does not require MKW to retract already printed/distributed materials.
8) Third-party & community IP
Some materials we share are licensed from third parties or communities; their terms may apply and can be stricter than MKW’s.
Sacred/lineage songs, designs, and prayers are used only with permission and are not granted for reuse. See Cultural Respect for conditions and red lines.
9) Brand use & co-promotion
Do not use MKW names/logos/taglines without written permission.
Co-promotion (flyers, posts, event pages) must:
Use approved assets (we can supply),
Avoid implying MKW endorsement beyond the specified event, and
Follow our Media & Privacy and Cultural Respect standards.
10) Takedowns & reporting infringement
If you believe your IP appears on our channels without authorization, or someone is misusing MKW IP:
Email info@mamakillaworld.com with subject “IP Notice – [URL/Date]” and include:
Your contact details;
Clear identification of the work/mark;
The exact location (URL/screenshot);
A statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized;
A statement that the information is accurate and you’re authorized to act.
We review in good faith and, where appropriate, remove, block, or request edits, and notify involved parties.
11) Links, embeds & external platforms
Our site may link to third-party content (their own policies apply).
If you upload MKW materials to an external platform without permission, we may request takedown under the platform’s rules.
12) Disclaimers & limits
MKW content is provided as-is for informational purposes (non-medical).
We strive for accuracy but do not warrant error-free content, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Nothing here grants you any license to patents, trade secrets, or restricted protocols.
13) Enforcement
We may suspend access, deny participation, or take legal action for repeated or serious violations.
Event access and participation are also governed by Conduct Guidelines, Media & Privacy, and Cultural Respect.
14) Governing law & venue
Disputes relating to IP or brand use will generally follow the law/jurisdiction of the activity’s location or, for website-only matters, the operator’s jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable rules.
