Location & Safety
Mama Killa World (MKW)
Scope: spiritual/educational & wellness activities (non-medical)
Last updated: 17/10/2025
This policy explains how we handle event locations (privacy, logistics, access) and our safety standards before, during, and after each activity. It applies to retreats, circles, workshops, and 1–1 sessions.
1) Principles
Safety first: clear protocols, trained staff, informed preparation.
Group privacy: we protect location details and attendee information.
Respect for place: care for the venue, neighbors, and nature.
Non-medical scope: MKW does not provide medical care; our guidance is preventive and educational.
2) How & when the location is shared
Confirmed booking → exact address: we share the exact address and map only with confirmed participants (via WhatsApp/email).
Staging points: some retreats use a meeting point with coordinated transfer to the venue.
Confidentiality: please do not repost the location on public channels.
Arrival/exit windows: you’ll receive safe arrival instructions (time windows, parking, pedestrian access) and safe exit guidance.
3) Venue types & accessibility
Urban venues: studios/centers with marked access and building rules.
Nature venues: retreat houses, eco-spaces, farms (may include uneven paths or slopes).
Accessibility: we’ll indicate steps, ramps, restrooms, lighting, and alternatives where possible (see Accessibility & Inclusion).
Weather/terrain: non-slip soles recommended; bring warm/rain layers as needed.
4) Transport & arrival
Personal responsibility: transport is not included unless stated.
Safe punctuality: arrive within the specified window for briefing and preparation.
Parking: use designated areas; do not block exits or neighbors.
Ride sharing: you may coordinate carpools with consent (don’t share others’ data without permission).
5) Lodging (if a retreat includes it)
Options: shared/private rooms depending on availability.
Quiet hours: to support rest and integration.
Hygiene: keep spaces clean; follow kitchen/shower rules.
Allergens: notify us in advance (see Accessibility & Inclusion).
6) Onsite safety infrastructure
First-aid & supplies: basic kit, gloves, oral rehydration salts, purge containers/bags, thermal blankets.
Signage: exits, evacuation routes, muster points, fire extinguishers where applicable.
Rest areas: quiet spots for pausing if needed.
Lighting: safe ambient lights for night circulation.
7) Emergency procedures
Initial briefing: routes, muster points, internal comms.
Safety pauses: staff may stop the activity at any sign of risk.
First aid & referral: basic care and, if needed, medical services contact.
Evacuation: follow venue plan (fire, quake, storm). Stay calm and follow facilitators.
8) Health, contraindications & preparation
Screening & Consent: required before participation.
Diet & abstinence: follow your Preparation Guide (may require several days).
Medications & conditions: disclose everything in the Health Questionnaire; do not change prescriptions without your physician.
Higher-risk practices: Kambô and Ayahuasca require specific protocols and may be ineligible for some participants.
9) Environment, weather & natural risks
Variable weather: bring layers/warmth; sun/rain protection per forecast.
Guided hydration: avoid overhydration; follow staff guidance.
Terrain: stable footwear; mind moisture/mud and local fauna.
Weather plan B: we may move indoors or reschedule for severe conditions (see Booking & Refunds).
10) Legal compliance & visionary plants
MKW does not publicly advertise or offer controlled substances.
Ayahuasca ceremonies are considered only in jurisdictions where permitted, with local legal guidance, reinforced protocols, and specific informed consent.
Where not permitted, Ayahuasca is not offered.
We do not work with isolated/pure DMT.
11) Sobriety & conduct
No alcohol or recreational drugs: at least 48 h before and 24–48 h after (or longer per practice).
Sober entry and full compliance with Conduct Guidelines (consent, boundaries, confidentiality).
Devices: silent mode; no recording others without written permission.
12) Personal belongings & responsibility
Bring only essentials; valuables remain your responsibility.
MKW and the venue are not liable for loss/theft except in cases of proven venue negligence.
Dangerous/prohibited items are not allowed.
13) Neighbor community & noise
Respect the local community: moderate noise, correct parking, no littering.
Avoid loud music outside permitted hours/zones; follow quiet hours.
14) Location privacy & data
Do not share exact addresses or attendee lists publicly.
Location and contact information are handled under Health & Safety – Privacy (purpose, legal basis, retention, rights).
For photos/videos, see Media & Privacy (Green/Yellow/Red consent system).
